 I have rebuild the nodefab from scratch based on svn version 7085, making
 sure the password is set. No error messages appeared during build.
 The image produced does not boot properly, however. The alternative
 bootpartitions are not recognized (F1 F2 choice). The machine starts to
 boot, but at some point (two different ones actually) the booting process
 stops:

 1. - first boot stops on mounting te root filesystem
